Privacy policy.

Synilogix is a creative studio in Epping, Melbourne. This page explains what personal information we collect when you use our website, why we collect it, and what you can do about it. It is written to be read, not skimmed past, and it follows the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988.
01Who we are
Synilogix is a Melbourne creative studio run by Elyas Mabrok and Abdullah Mustafa, based in Epping, Victoria, Australia. We build websites, produce video and photography, and develop custom platforms. We are responsible for the personal information collected through this website.
If you have any question about your privacy, email us at hello@synilogix.com and we will reply the same day.
02What we collect
We collect two kinds of information, and not much of either.
What you give us
When you fill in our enquiry or contact form, we collect the details you choose to send:
- Your name
- Your email address
- The type of project you select (website, video, platform, or unsure)
- Any project details you write in the message
If you email us directly instead, we hold whatever you put in that email. We only ask for what we need to reply and quote your project. You do not have to give us anything to browse the site.
What is collected automatically
Like almost every website, our hosting provider records basic technical information when a page is requested, such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you viewed. This is standard server and security logging. We do not run advertising trackers, marketing pixels, or analytics profiles that follow you around the web.
03How we use it
We use the information you send us only to:
- Reply to your enquiry and answer your questions
- Scope your project and prepare a fixed quote
- Communicate with you about work you have asked us about
- Keep the website running, secure, and working properly
We do not use your details for unrelated marketing, and we will not add you to a mailing list off the back of an enquiry. If we ever want to do something new with your information, we will ask you first.
04Cookies & analytics
This is short, because there is not much to say. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics such as Google Analytics or the Meta pixel on this website.
The site uses a small amount of your browser's local storage purely to make page transitions work smoothly as you move around. It stays on your device, is not a tracking cookie, and is not shared with anyone. You can clear it at any time through your browser settings, and you can block or delete cookies and site storage generally from there too.
Because we do not track you, there is no cookie consent banner to click through. If that ever changes, we will add a clear notice and update this page first.
05Sharing & third parties
We do not sell your personal information, and we never will. We only share it with the service providers we need to run the studio, and only so they can do their job:
- Form delivery. When you submit the contact form, a form-handling service passes your message to our inbox.
- Website hosting. Our site and its server logs are hosted on a reputable cloud platform that delivers the pages and keeps them secure.
- Email. Our business email runs on a professional email provider, so any message you send us is stored there.
These providers handle data on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes. Some of them operate servers outside Australia, which means your information may be processed overseas; we choose providers that take security and privacy seriously. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
06Storage & security
Your enquiry lives in our email inbox and, where relevant, in the notes we keep to quote and run your project. We take reasonable steps to protect it: access is limited to Elyas and Abdullah, accounts are protected with strong, unique passwords, and the providers we use encrypt data in transit.
No method of sending or storing information online is ever completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security. We can promise that we treat your details with care and do not collect more than we need.
07How long we keep it
We keep enquiry information only as long as we reasonably need it: to reply, to quote, and to keep a record of work we have discussed or done. If your enquiry does not turn into a project, we remove it once it is clearly no longer needed. You can ask us to delete it sooner at any time.
08Your rights
Under the Australian Privacy Principles you can, at no cost:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Correct anything that is wrong or out of date
- Ask us to delete your information when we no longer need it
Just email hello@synilogix.com and tell us what you need. We will confirm your identity, then handle it promptly. If you are in the EU or UK, you have similar rights under data protection law there, and you are welcome to make the same requests.
09Links to other sites
Our site links out to other places, such as our Instagram and our clients' websites. Once you leave Synilogix, this policy no longer applies. We are not responsible for how other sites handle your information, so it is worth reading their privacy policies too.
10Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and change the date at the top. For anything significant, we will make the change obvious rather than quietly editing the text.
11Contact & complaints
For any privacy question, request, or complaint, email hello@synilogix.com. We would always rather hear from you first and sort it out directly.
If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your privacy, you can also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au, which oversees privacy in Australia.
This page is general information about how we handle data, not legal advice. We have written it to reflect what our website actually does today.
